More VBCW figures

 As you can see 9 more 28mm VBCW figures are finished. They are a mixture of Empress Miniatures and Footsore Miniatures. All painted for Matt and ready for battle. I should have finished these 2 weeks ago but  what can I say real life got in the way! I have used the common colours of the time and they all fit in with the others painted previously.

Along with the usual weapons, there is a mortar (second Picture far right) and a Dinamentero (A Term used in the Spanish civil war for special troops who hurl sticks of Dynamite in slings, I believe this was started by some Austrian miners and turned out to be very unpopular with their opponents) SO no reason It cannot happen in a Very British Civil War as well.

I am off to the BROADSIDE show tomorrow so there will be a loot/swag post and a show report early next week and maybe an AAR from the VBCW game we are putting on as well.

      Be warned though I intend to spend some time looking around! But if it helps I will be wearing a BLACK tee shirt with the Rainham club logo (top right of this page).

      Thanks Fran. I am sure at least 1 thing I plan to buy tomorrow will get your seal of approval. AND I have ordered some figures for the next analogue hobbies Painting challenge. You will see more when I do a swag post!

      Thanks Matt. The scales are OK. very little height wise to tell them apart (the females are shorter but that is expected.)

    All painted up to your usual high standard. What is the green and yellow cylinder at the far left of the second photo? It looks like a small barrel.

      Thanks Bryan. You are correct it is a small oil drum. painted at the same time and it looks like a bit of cover for the kneeling woman with a pistol.

    Those are looking good and I bet the full force looks good en-masse.
    I'm pleased you said what the "Dinamentero" figure was as I was wondering.

      Thanks Roy. I have only known about Dineniteros for about 6 years as you hardly ever see ant pictures of them.

      I have a small pick up order from Stu at the show. I'll show you later.

    Good assortment of riff-raff, maybe suitable as cannon fodder too, but they do have a little extra 'bite', they should provide some interesting gameplay.

      Thank you Michael I do not posses the skills to be a "Dinamenteros" also they never surrendered as they were killed if they did by the opposite side!
